Opportunity

Staples Canada wanted to redesign their Copy & Print site to be more cohesive with their rebrand to a coworking space and shop with a focus on working, learning, & growing.

Audience

Before their rebrand, the target audience for Staples Copy & Print services included small-to-medium business owners, startups founders, and students.
We wanted to retain this audience while appealing and offering more competitive services.

Experience

We completed a full audit of Staples many print offerings and through a card sorting activity were able to better simplify and organize their services. This was also an opportunity to provide a complete art direction for their printed assets in order to better appeal to their audience and showcase their capabilities.

Beyond

Although our ask was only considering the Print homepage, we used research and feedback from previous engagements to inform us in creating a future rollout plan. This plan included integration with the office supply site, focus on smart search functionality, & a cohesive design system framework which the Staples tech team could integrate into their other products.
